Mission Statement:
Gallery of Jewels is dedicated to creating and managing a specialized retail jewelry marketplace. The Galleries represent and sell handcrafted, limited edition jewelry by Bay Area, Regional and International jewelry designers. The Gallery presents each artist individually and collectively achieves an attractive variety of silver, gold and platinum adornments. With more than 100 artists in our portfolio, there is always something special for your fashion, engagement, wedding, and commitment needs.
The Gallery was conceived in January 1990 by Dona Taylor and Bill Hoover, the principals. Dona and Bill have been independent jewelry retailers for over 30 years. Shawn Higgins, Director of Galleries, delivers a fashion aesthetic, purely driven by passion and integrity. Most importantly, it is the contributions of the whole team; from the artists to the gallery managers, sales associates and back office personnel that delivers the love of our business.
San Francisco is a cosmopolitan marketplace. This city is rich with people who love, appreciate and support the Artist community. Each busy location serves a wide and varied clientele. Visitors from all over the world, combined with the 8 million Bay Area Residents stimulate a culturally rich experience.
Gallery Managers:
Each gallery manager strives to build a working relationship with
each Artist. The doors of communication are always open. Managers
give you feedback - what works, what doesn't, and why. The purpose
of this relationship is to maximize each Artist's collection, resulting
in higher sales.
Customer service is crucial to our continued growth. Managers encourage
custom and special orders. We will sell your work any way we can.
If you are local, we may invite you to do trunk shows (customers
love to meet you).
