Margery Hirschey

In just a short time Margery Hirschey has begun to make a name for herself in the competitive world of luxury designer jewelry. With a background in fine arts, Ms. Hirschey launched her first line of fine jewelry in early 2008. Her very first pieces caught the eye of the Designer jewelry Buyer at Bergdorf Goodman who encouraged her to create a full line. With virtually no experience in the business, in a makeshift studio, Ms. Hirschey created a stunning and sophisticated collection which debuted at a trunk show in the Designer Jewelry Salon at Bergdorfʼs in Fall, 2008. Since that time, the line has made its way to Ikram in Chicago and Roseark in West Hollywood, California, among other retail outlets across the country. In 2010, Ms. Hirschey was honored to have been selected as one of the ten designers to exhibit at the prestigious New Designer Gallery at the JA Show in New York City. Most recently, Ms. Hirscheyʼs earrings adorned the stylish Whitney Port on the red carpet of the American Music Awards.

Using centuries old techniques, Ms. Hirschey uses 100 percent recycled 18k and 22k gold, and blackened silver, paired with precious and semi-precious stones to create unique, one of a kind pieces. The imperfections of the stones and ancient techniques she employs creates pieces that evoke a sense of antiquity with a very modern sensibility.

Ms.Hirschey received a B.A. in Fine Arts from Indiana University studying both two dimensional and three dimensional disciplines and studied the art of jewelry construction at Clear Creek Academy of Jewelry and Metal Arts in Denver, CO.
