Representing Finely Hand Crafted Jewelry
Sally Craig

Sally Craig started taking jewelry classes at age 13 in Arlington Mass. She graduated Skidmore College in 1982 with a BA in Economics and the University of Washington in 1985 with a BFA in Metal Design. It was at the UW that she studied with Mary Lee Hu, who introduced her to fine wire work. After returning to the Boston area in 1987 she started her own line of jewelry focusing her designs around the exacting technique she still employs today.

The 20g sterling silver warps are wrapped in 30g 22k gold and fine silver wires creating the various patterns.

As the weaving progresses, various alterations to the shape can be achieved by bending the warps.
