Bask Jewelry was founded in 1987 by Steven Battelle after an extended trip to the Far East. The motifs and iconography of the various Southeast Asian cultures all had their influences in inspiring the designs that began to emerge from his new workshop. Since that time a distinctive melding of the clean simple lines of classic European design combined with patterns of fine Eastern handwork and ornamentation has developed into the designs that comprise the complementary lines of Bask and Steven Battelle.

Bask consists of high quality sterling and semiprecious designs. The signature Steven Battelle line comprises sterling combined with 18K or 22K gold, white gold, and solid 18K or 22K designs utilizing fine and rarer semiprecious and precious stones.
